SaveSMO is thrilled to present our latest film “Runway Home”! The film follows the journey of a man named Jack as he navigates the process of healing after losing his girlfriend Emma who was a loved pilot at the Santa Monica Airport. Emma for years tried to convince Jack to learn how to fly but he never did. After receiving an unexpected phone call from the hospital informing him of Emma’s death, he turns to SMO and its community to heal and continue her legacy. Jack learns to fly in honor of Emma and is supported by SMO’s wonderful community that was once a family to Emma, and becomes a family to Jack.
